Hanging some plastic sheet curtains around your work area may cut down on dust accumulating on everything. I used to try to sand things in my basement shop/storage/furnace/beer fridge room and my wife went ballistic about dust getting in the Christmas ornament boxes. I have roll up plastic curtains now that cut off half the room from mess encroachment. I put string ties under the battens on the roof to be able to tie them up out of the way when I'm not using messy stuff.
I've been thinking about putting hooks in the ceiling of the garage so I can hang a blue tarp to create a wall, the problem is I grab the longboard and start sanding right away, Damn drive to get things done.
Maybe this weekend, I know it will help, my work area looks like a snowstorm hit it, and nothing seems to help. Dust collector, shopvac, brooms, fans, open garage door, nothing. I can't believe there are people that do this "IN" the house. It would just end up a toxic hell I think.
