Bling...........

Can I get a whoop whoop? So I went out to do some mould sanding in preparation for my fairing compound party, and I find that all the duck tape that was holding the oven together and keeping it sealed is falling off because of the cold temps and dusty conditions. So instead of getting any sanding done I got out the aluminum foil and spray glue and made a big sticky mess. The Bright side is that now the oven 1. looks super fresh 2. can't fall apart anymore because that spray glue is holding everything together and in place 3. is even more insulated and air tight than before. Maybe I'll get back to sanding tomorrow.

Your easy-bake chamber is starting to look mighty industrial. Why not go all the way and foil wrap it completely?

That way the items inside are protected from cosmic rays and hate beams from Coconut Beach, Florida.

Bet you could get DARPA funding as a composite laminate particulate cure catalyzing accelerator.

BTW, what is the length of the Contender tube you are getting? Can it made a little longer - i.e. 505 length? How much did it quote at? I'm already thinking about upgrading the aluminum tube I'm using.

It was enough of a PITA to just do the seams, (and I needed the rest for the foil helmet I'm making so Doug will stop trying to read my thoughts)

As far as spars go, just contact Clive Watts at CST Composites and he will answer all your questions.
