a few more....

Just a few more pics of what I did this after noon. Wow 2 bloog posts in one day, must be sick or something.

A rough trim to see what I've got. I have room to trim a bunch more off the gunwales. Since I'm using a tramp now (lots of thought in that one, just stopped fighting the reality that I will be doing a ton of light air "non trap mode" sailing here), I'm probably going to take another 5" off the overall beam.

All my bulkhead and frame templates fit, so that's cool. have to work on the new transom and foil case templates.

Not sure of my shell weight. My scale only goes to 11lbs and I'm pretty sure I'm over that, but my nine year old says its pretty light. Have a scuff and bog session planned for tomorrow, might even get some fairing in depending on the temps.

Looks sweet! I've been trying to get out on the Bladerider but work and then a cold have been getting in the way. Hopefully this weekend.

I have a cold as well, who wants to get dusty when their throat is on fire. I wish it wold go away so I could get boat building again. I'm supposed to check out an A-cat at Union on Sunday, but if your going out on your BR I would love to come down ad help you rig and check it out. Let me know.

Which side of Union, the sailing club or park entrance? I plan on sailing this weekend, just not sure where yet. I was going to camp at Lake McConaghy last weekend until I caught a wicked cold that my girlfriend picked up on a round the world business trip.

Once I have the BR setup working well I intend to send you out for a go at foiling. I don't know if that will be this weekend. We still have a few weeks of season. This week Pueblo Reservior still has 68 degree surface temps. The mountain biking down there, right at the reservior, is very good too!

I would love that...I think the A cats are at the sailing club at union. Might want to think about taking the BR up there, I know the cat guys are pretty hot to see a foiler up close, you know how it is to get the itch. A-class racing every Sunday for the rest of the season I hear. I wasn't planning on getting wet because of this chest cold, But I would still love to check everything out if your going. I'll give you a call on Friday and we can talk.
