Long Days Night

At 11pm I went back to the shop to sand. you can see the green guide coat, I still sanded through is some spots, but high spots have to go.

After a ton of sanding, fairing, and two coats of Grey Duratec here's the final topcoat. I would like to thank the two huge cans of Monster Energy Drink that made it possible for me to stay up till 5am to get it done. Now just need to go in this afternoon to sand it up to 1000 and buff/polish/seal/release. (Of course its "The Strauss's" birthday so there's a good chance I'll go in and get nothing done.......except drink a lot of whisky and enjoy.)

Happy Birthday Bro

Hurry up or you're going to miss the foiling revolution!!

I admire your dedication and attention to detail but fear that it might all be for nothing when you make design changes after initial testing. Just build it already.

I am building it, I know its taking longer than a regular thrown together home build, but I'm also using the project as a way to hone my skills for the future not just this build in particular. That's why I took so much time off to work at EBS. feel free to come help out when ever to make it go faster. (and how can I build a boat on unfinished moulds? is there some other part I should be working on to speed things up? I think the rig and foils wouldn't work very good without a hull to connect them to.)
