I've settled in to my new space, its twice as big as my old one, its great to have so much room. Spent the whole day in the 90deg shop with the respirator on scrubbing all the Duratec off the tools. Got pretty far, just a little more to go and I can re shoot.

What a bummer! Make sure you get rid of the acetone soaked rags! You are probably due for a visit from your local constabulary - acetone consumption is one of their triggers for crystal meth labs.
I've been dragging for a few days as well - constant rain for weeks (two good days so far this summer). Epoxy cure times are slowing me on Thomas' boat.
Bummer is right, but its all in the past now, just looking forward. No cops so far, so thats good. Its started raining here again as well. I don't think we've had one completely dry day in over a month......in Colorado that's just unheard of.
I've had the same results with Duratech. I gave a gallon of the stuff away because I was so pissed. I use two part urethane high build primer. I bought an air supplied respirator so I could work with the stuff without killing myself. Again, the best fairing compound is SilverTip QuickFair. With this stuff you can the hull is so fair you can go directly to epoxy primer.
