Back to wood.

I spent last night and the first part of today sanding the rest of the fiberglass on the hull plug, so now the whole thing is sanded and ready for a coat of Duratec.


A close up shot of the plug. I sanded a lot but left a little texture in the glass, a little something extra for the Duratec to stick to. (Its a sandable filling primer, I could have not sanded at all and it would have filled in the weave, but I didn't feel like using that much, its kinda pricey.)


My daughter and I put the deck mould up on the horses so I can start work on it, sanded some of the rough edges off the strips .


And cleaned up the bow area a little, more sanding tomorrow. I can tell this one is going to go much faster than the last.
