Its been a while since I posted, but I've spent the week in bed sick, that and I don't seem to post much when nothing new is happening. Anyway, I'm continuing to sand on the Hull Tool, and its really coming together. Last night I put what I hope is the final coat of bog on. Everything was looking about where I wanted it as far as fairness, I put one thin coat on the whole mould and put it in the oven over night, I'm going to sand on that starting tonight in preparation for 6oz glass, which I ordered yesterday..........So you know, its getting there.
I figured out a way to put the heater box up on the sawhorses, so now I don't have to put the tool (260lbs) back on the floor when I want to cook it. Its not airtight or anything, but if I leave the lights on continuously, the box maintains a constant 99.5deg, which is fine for anything besides post cure.
